I recently photographed a birthday party for a little boy named Paxton. This wasn't just any party. This was his FIRST birthday party and Mom and Dad thought of everything! The theme was "Rookie of the Year" and it was obvious that a lot of time and effort was put into throwing an unforgettable celebration.
Family gathered early in the day to help set up and we got some cute photos before the rest of the guests arrived!
The food was great and the decorations were amazing. I had never seen a party like it before. Paxton is one lucky little guy.
Everyone had a great time but no one had more fun than the birthday boy...
My favorite part of the party was the dunk tank and I think I heard Mom saying that it was the best money she spent on the party. Dad climbed up in the tank and everyone tried to send him swimming one pitch at a time. We even got Paxton up in there for a quick photo.
If you can look at those last few pictures without laughing then you are better than me because I crack up every time. Dad was such a trooper. Here are some more of my favorite shots from the event.
They even had some memorabilia on display from Paxton's grandfather who played baseball as well. This is a family of baseball fanatics, for sure.
We ended our photo documentary of the party with the smash cake. As you can tell by his face, he loved it!!!
I would like to thank Mom and Dad for inviting me to the party to take pictures and Robert Pfeifer of Pifemaster Productions for being a second shooter who captured many awesome shots. Lastly, I want to thank everyone who attended for being so much fun to be around and being okay with cameras in their faces constantly HAHAHA! Hope to see you all again next time.
